We believe in providing value first – that’s why we offer a no-cost energy assessment to homeowners throughout York, Harrisburg, and Carlisle, PA. The process starts with a visual inspection, covering your home from top to bottom, basement to attic. We meticulously inspect every corner of your home to identify any potential energy loss or comfort issues.This also helps us to identify if the more thorough diagnostics of an energy audit are necessary for your home. Energy audits utilize specialized equipment to measure exactly how a home is performing but are not required for the majority of homes in Central PA.
A primary focus of our home energy assessment is to determine whether your home is properly insulated and air sealed.
In the attic, we’ll check for adequate insulation and ensure it’s properly installed.
In the rest of your home, we’ll check for any air leaks that could be causing drafts, or allowing outside contaminants to enter your breathing air.
