Energy Smart now offering up to $1,200 in energy efficiency rebates through the FirstEnergy Whole House Program!

By administrator • November 18th, 2010

Energy Smart is pleased to announce that we are now offering energy efficiency rebates through FirstEnergy’s Whole House Program.  Eligible homeowners can receive up to $300 for a comprehensive energy audit and an additional $900 for performing recommended energy efficiency upgrades.

Here’s the deal.  As a customer of Met-Ed, Penelec, and Penn Power, you receive a $150 rebate for hiring an BPI-certified Energy Smart field technician to perform a “test-in” (prior to remediation work) energy audit.  Then, you receive up $900 more in rebates for working with Energy Smart to perform cost effective energy saving improvements around your home.  Finally, you receive an additional $150 for performing a “test-out” energy audit to quantify the benefits of remediation.  Total savings for you: $1,200.  All for increasing your home comfort, improving your energy efficiency, and lowering your utility bills.  It’s truly a win-win-win.  One more thing.  This offer is retroactive up to October 28,2009.  That means if you’ve hired Energy Smart for an energy audit, remediation work, or both, you can still take advantage of this brand new deal.   For more details, check out what FirstEnergy has to say.
